It can be stored in a vehicle for quick access, so it’s a perfect fit for active shooter scenarios. Engineered to be cost effective without compromising on quality. Caliber Armor Hard Body Armor Trauma Plates are engineered to exceed the rigorous National Institute of Justice (NIJ) standards. The 4403 plate is NIJ Certification Pending and has passed all of the ballistic requirements.
Offered in both law enforcement shooters cut and SAPI medium this multi-curve plate fits in most available plate carriers.
The plate is .83″ thin and weighs in at 7.9 lbs.
