Lightweight. Adaptable. Mission Ready.

Built for military, law enforcement, and tactical professionals, the Caliber Armor High Cut Ballistic Helmet is a lightweight, NIJ-tested ballistic shell (NIJ 0101.07 Level IIIA/HG2 & NIJ 0106.01) designed for demanding operational environments. Its high-cut, ACH-style profile provides clearance for compatible communications equipment and hearing protection, while the integrated retention system supports a secure and comfortable fit.

The hybrid UHMWPE/Aramid-fiber shell is paired with a D3O Halo™ 7 impact liner and an adjustable dial retention system for a secure, customizable fit. Helmet can be upgraded with a variety of accessories so you can build your custom setup for your operational needs.

Ballistic Resistance & Threat Protection

The Caliber Armor NIJ Level IIIA High Cut Ballistic Helmet performance is independently tested at NIJ-accredited laboratories in the United States to NIJ 0101.07 Level IIIA/HG2 & NIJ 0106.01 testing guidelines & protocols. The following test data details backface deformation measurements, fragmentation resistance, and D3O Halo™ 7 impact liner performance.

Backface Deformation Results

Backface deformation (BFD) measures the indentation formed in a backing material behind a ballistic test sample following an impact. It provides additional information about the sample's response under the specified test conditions and should not be interpreted as a direct measure of injury risk.

Testing Results:

  • 9 mm (1,470± 30 ft/s) BFD = 19.54mm
  • .44 Magnum (1,430 ± 30 ft/s) BFD = 29.26mm
  • Fragmentation resistance: Reported 17-grain fragmentation V50 of 2,351 ft/s. (MIL-STD-662F)
  • Blunt Impact Performance: D3O Halo™ 7 liner system exceeds the applicable ACH blunt-impact requirements under AR/PD 10-02 by 33%.

Helmet Fit & Sizing Guide

Choosing the correct helmet size is essential for a secure, comfortable fit. Measure your head before ordering and compare your measurement with the chart below.

How to Measure Your Head

  1. Wrap a flexible measuring tape around the circumference of your head, just above your eyebrows and ears.
  2. Keep the tape level around your head and note the measurement where the ends meet.
  3. If you do not have a flexible measuring tape, use a piece of string and measure it against a ruler.
  4. Compare your measurement with the size chart below.
Helmet Size Head Circumference
Small 20.08 - 21.65 in
Medium 21.26 - 23.23 in
Large 22.83 - 24.41 in
X-Large 24.02 - 25.59 in
