Gray Man Concealable Carrier from Caliber Armor

The Gray man concealable body armor was just the right size price and fit. Thank goodness I can’t attest to. It’s usefulness lol but it’s great to have just in case!

My second one and fits very comfortable while wearing the soft armor and the steel armor.

Had an issue with the first grey man, made a phone call after hours and the young lady ""I won't say her name for her privacy"" answered and stepped up and handled the issue. I am amazed how Caliber Armors Customer service and especially the young lady that went out of her way to make it all happen. THANK YOU!!!! I will and would recommend Caliber Armor.

Iv had it for a week now, been wearing it every day since then. I have no complaints.
My soft panel is longer (12.50) an i know the vest WASNT intended to fit it, but I shoved it in there an it still fits an the velcro hasn't opened

This carrier and soft armor give you the basic protection from handguns in a very lightweight package. The carrier is designed just right to fit soft armor and blunt force trauma pads. If someday you want rifle protection, you could throw another carrier and hard armor right over this one and have a high level of blunt force protection and comfort. I own the 10x12 and 11x14 variations.

It's definitely a great product and my soft plates fit perfectly. This is a perfect kit for rapid deployment if necessary and great for concealment. The customer service is definitely top shelf and if there is a problem they are quick to respond and fix the issue. Highly recommend the company and this product

This is a great carrier, very lightweight. Not a lot of room to put a thicker lightweight plate. Even a thin Trauma pad
And soft armor it is tight. I'm big and got an XL fits fine,But I had to put small piece of tape over a small section of Velcro hooks on each side to keep them off my bare skin.with just caliberx soft plates and a xxl t shirt it's concealable and comfortable.

Caliber Armor did a nice job with creating this carrier for soft armor.
- Armor panels are secured with a velcro flap that is pressed down on the outside instead of being tucked into the carrier like every traditional carrier. Not a big deal, it's soft armor so it's not going to move the velcro one bit.
- Mesh material is nice and breathable, although the breathability is somewhat blocked by the armor panels.
- The left/right ends cummerbund are stitched to the back carrier bag, that way the overall printing is less, and the cummerbund can't loosen from the back. One downside is that you have a little less cummerbund adjustment ability and have to rely on the front flaps to adjust it to the correct tightness. It hasn't been a problem for me.
- The shoulder adjustments work really well, and are not sharp, so you don't really need shoulder pads as there isn't any chaffing that will occur.
- Made in the USA, stitching looks good so far, and velcro is quiet strong, so it felt like I was going to rip the mesh but everything held together with no issues.
- Overall, a very nice and affordable carrier if you are looking to carry soft armor only either concealed or low-vis. If they could somehow rig up mesh side panel bags for a 6x6 3A that can slide onto the cummerbund, that would make it perfect as far as armor coverage, comfort, and conceal-ability.

I'm sorry, this vest could not stop a spit wad. There is absolutely zero protection with this vest.....
