The Caliber AR550 DV8 Level III+ Body Armor Package combines Caliber Armor’s AR550 steel body armor plates with the fully configurable DV8 Plate Carrier.

Designed for low-profile Caliber Armor plates, the DV8 provides a secure, customizable fit without forcing thinner armor plates into a carrier built for thicker SAPI-style plates. Choose your preferred front and back plate configuration, carrier color, coating option, and plate cut to build an armor setup that fits your needs.

Made in the USA and Berry Compliant, the DV8 AR550 Package delivers a complete armor system built around fit, protection, and flexibility.

With multiple plate cut options, you can configure your setup for mobility, coverage, or a combination of both. Choose Shooter’s Cut plates for improved shoulder movement, SAPI Style Cut plates for added coverage, or mix the two based on your preferred front and back setup.

PolyShield Anti-Fragmentation Coating Option

Choose PolyShield Anti-Fragmentation Coating for an added protective layer designed to help reduce fragmentation concerns associated with steel body armor.

For customers who prefer a lower-profile or lower-cost setup, standard coating options are also available.

Ballistic Testing

AR550 plates with PolyShield Coating are NIJ STD-0101.06 Level III Certified and tested against additional special threats, including M855.
